Easy to read, follows the CDs and has a word for word tapescript at the back. Biggest Plus: Easy and Fast 4 stars (Conversational Spanish In Nothing Flat (Frobose)) - Easy to use -- have found a couple of errors in English-to-Spanish words, but no big deal. It is somewhat difficult to use the book in conjunction w/ the recording, because the book has no real format. Took me a while to realize the "almost verbatim" words on the tape are where an index usually is. Otherwise -- pretty decent method of learning to converse! 5 stars (My Personal Experience with Conversational Spanish in Nothing Flat) - In my opinion, no "single" language tool (a book for example) will make you completely proficient in a particular language. While the title almost implies that you only have to diet for three hours, the true meaning is that you need to EAT every three hours. By doing this, your body doesn't go into starvation mode which will eventually undermine your goal to lose weight. Reader friendly and well laid out, I'd have to say its not a bad plan all in all. However even if you follow it to a 'T', you'll be doing the same thing you've always had to do to lose weight- eat less and exercise more. Readers interested in other diet books might also want to check out "The No-Beach, No-Zone, No-Nonsense Weight Loss Plan" 4 stars (Good Information) - the 3-Hour Diet book is an easy book to read and directions are easy to follow. Command and Conquer Generals- Zero Hour Expansion Pack

5 stars (pretty darn good) - This is a good expansion pack... the Challenge mode is very cool... you pick the personality of your general, then you pick the personality of the general you want to fight against. When then game begins, you can hear the general from the other team laughing at your mistakes, and he's usually right. Very interesting and fun to play. Don't play this game on a night before you have to go to work, because you will probably lose track of time by having such a blast. But there is a downside... The user interface is still the same old interface that takes up too much space on the screen. And perhaps most annoying: Any time you get a mission report, you have to wait and wait and wait to see the pop-up descriptions when you are trying to chose which unit(s) you want to build. And speaking of waiting... if you want to restart a mission, you have to sit through the introduction video, and you can't skip past it. Hopefully the next version of C&C will fix these oversights. 4 stars (Wonderful endeed but...) - Anyone who bought and enjoyed the original CandC: Generals won't go far wrong doing the same again with this expansion. Your money buys you another 15 single player missions all complete with new units, a `challenge' scenario where you can choose a general that suits your style of play and put him up against 8 others as well as the usual skirmish and multiplay modes. The graphics and sound are excellent, as could be expected from a developer of this pedigree, with the cut scenes giving a truly professional feel to the whole experience. Explosions and animation are superb, I particularly like the way bodies fly through the air as a bunker is blown up, and the screams of anguish as troopers die a painful chemical death never fails to bring a smile (I know, I'm a sick git). Working through this book, I was able to learn step by step how to design pages and manipulate the images and text. The book is very clear and concise and the exercises the author gives at the end of every chapter are extremely useful. 4 stars (Up-To-Date Now - Thank you.) - Having been out of web Development for a couple years, I needed confidence that my basic understanding was up to speed. This book HTML and XHTML in 24 hours, brought me up to date rather quickly. It provided the foundation that I needed both to build some basic web application prototypes, and to be able to begin reading more specialized books on Web Development. C - C Generals Zero Hour Mac

5 stars (Unbelievable Expansion Pack) - The game was great without it but the game has a whole new gaming experience with it. With fifteen levels of non-stop action as either of the three main groups, and the generals challenges the game never seems to end. This is an excellent buy. 4 stars (A leap forward) - For those who love the Command and Conquer games, this is a must. I used to play the older games on my PC years ago, so i leapt at the chance to buy the Command and Conquer for mac when it came out last year. I think this expansion pack is even better than the actual original game, although you only get 5 missions per side (USA, China and GLA) as well as the skirmish setting you get another feature called Generals Challenge. This effectively gives you another 49 missions as you pit your wits against 7 other generals and their specialised weaponry. The weapons within these missions are pretty hi-tech. Overall this game is excellent, i only gave it 4 stars though as it requires a 1GHZ chip speed to play it, this slows down play on my 867 powerbook, and i'm sure a lot of people who want to play this will have the same problem. 5 stars (Swimmer attempts a triathlon) - I liked this book because it broke training levels down into all levels. The author even has a trianing level for the single sporter like myself. If you don't have the time to go all out, then you should look at getting this book. 5 stars (Enjoyed this book) - I truly enjoyed reading this book and utilizing the advice Eric Harr offered. It was easy to read, well organized and made my training enjoyable. I just completed my first sprint triathlon, had a blast and now I'm training for my next race. I felt this book assisted me as I prepared mentally and physically for the race, not only by laying out what to expect race day but also the weeks leading up to it. I would highly recommend this book to any first timers out there. 5 stars (Great place to start your triathlon training) - This book is perfect if you are interested in training for a triathlon, but are just not sure how to do it. I run and bike, but have never done a triathlon before. I just did not have any clue how to design a program that would allow me to incorporate running, swimming, and cycling in such a way that I would be able to finish a sprint distance triathlon. Using the program in this book I was able to train for and easily complete my first sprint triathlon. If you have any interest in training for a triathlon and do not know how, I would HIGHLY recommend this book. It is not technical. It makes you believe you can do it, and it provides a program framework that works. The program(s) in this book cover fitness levels from bare beginners all the way to single sport Gods (runners, cyclists, etc.) They are geared towards a sprint distance, but adaptable up to 1/2 ironman distance. Each program is doable (time wise). You do not need to quit your job and divorce your wife. Overall, fantastic. If you want to train but do not know where to start, this is where to start. ...
